Barite is a more common mineral of barium, and its composition is barium sulfate. The crystals are large tube-shaped, and the crystals can sometimes form rosettes or bifurcated crystals, which are called crested barite.

Pure barite is colorless and transparent, generally white, light yellow, and has glass luster. Barite ore can be used as a white pigment (we are commonly known as Lide powder). It can also be used in chemical, paper, and textile fillers. It can act as a flux and increase the brightness of glass in glass production. Guizhou barite is selected through good process screening. The specific beneficiation process is as follows:

1. Crushing process: Barite is fragile and fragile. Therefore, in the crushing process, we recommend using jaw crusher to avoid using hammer crusher to crush barite to produce a lot of fine ore. The raw ore can get better crushing effect through an jaw crusher.

2. Screening process: The thickness of the crushed barite ore is very uneven, and the beneficiation equipment generally has its own required grain size and grade range. Therefore, the crushed barite ore can be screened and processed. Optimizing the next sorting process is a significant increase in the sorting efficiency and sorting index of the sorting equipment.

3. Sorting process: This process is a reselection process. Gravity separation of barite ore is carried out using reselection equipment. The jig machine has a large selection size and a wide range of selection grades. For 0-30mm grain size barite ore beneficiation, it also has the advantages of large beneficiation treatment, high recovery rate, energy saving, high efficiency, and environmental protection.

4. Dewatering process: Because the jig dressing is a wet beneficiation, the concentrate and tailings discharged after the jig dressing contain a large amount of water. Generally, dewatering measures are required to reduce the water content of the concentrate and On the one hand, the excess water can also be removed to return to the circulation tank to ensure that the amount of circulating water system consumption is low.
